In the July 7 issue of the Parker Chronicle, guest columnist Linda Newell made her sad lament of the loss of the right to control her own body. A more truthful, moral statement would have been that she lost the right to murder her baby. Every mother knows that the growing life inside of her body is human being. A human being with God-given rights to live, just as the mother has rights to live. The mother is entrusted to give the best possible care to that little life.

It is so sad to watch a culture of death make babies expendable for the wishes of the mother.
