Highlands Ranch to host KidFest Saturday

Highlands Ranch Metro District is kicking off its summer events calendar with the annual KidFest on June 11 at Civic Green Park. 

From 9 a.m. to noon, the park will feature a heap of family-friendly events, such as yoga, a precision jump rope performance, live music, a marial arts demonstration, food and a Nerf dart battle zone. 

Other highlights include South Metro Fire Rescue’s  fire engine demos and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office’s mounted patrol.

Live entertainment will be provided by Claim Jumpers, Paul Barillo, Legacy Martial Arts and Peak Athletics Summer Crew Claw.
