Chevrolet unveiled the 2023 Corvette Z06 to Colorado car enthusiasts Thursday, the manufacturer’s latest model expected to make a splash among luxury car fans in the territory of global names like Lamborghini and Ferrari.
The Bozarth Chevrolet dealership in Lone Tree had a full display of the vehicle, which boasts a 5.5-liter V-8 engine with a flat-plane crank and can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds. Car enthusiasts had the chance to sit inside the vehicle, view a display of available tire rims and color options for the 2023 model and try out an interactive display that simulates the sound and feel of the V-8 engine that produces 670 horsepower and revs to 8600 revolutions per minute.
The 2023 Corvette Z06 starts at $106,395, and the convertible model at $113,895, including destination fees.
Chevrolet hasn't announced an exact date for the start of deliveries, but it is expected to happen by fall.
