2022 Election Results: Bird declares victory over DeMott in HD 29

Shannon Bird declared victory over Vanessa DeMott in HD 29 earning about 61% of the vote. 

"I am super excited to get back to work. I find that campaigns are great opportunities to reconnect with the communities that we serve," she said.

A former Westminster city councilor, Bird was elected to the legislature in 2018. Some of her main priorities include transportation, healthcare, housing, education and public safety. 

"I feel grounded, I feel excited and definitely motivated to get back to work," she said.
